By installing, accessing, or using the Booky browser extension and associated services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Booky is a browser extension and web app that helps you save, organize and find pages again. The Service includes: - A browser extension for managing a synchronized bookmark library. - Reading the text of a page when you choose to save it, so the bookmark can later be found by describing its content. - AI-assisted categorization, tagging and search by meaning. - Cloud synchronization across devices. - A view of your browsing history for saving pages you visited. - Saving the pages you have open as bookmarks, with a review step before anything is saved. - Import from other browsers and bookmark managers, and export of your own data.

To access paid features you must sign in with Google. You are responsible for: - Keeping your Google account secure. - All activity that occurs under your Booky account. - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Booky offers the following paid plans: - Monthly: $0.99 per month, billed monthly. - Lifetime: $5.00 one-time payment. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

The AI categorization feature uses third-party language model providers. Results are provided on a best-effort basis and may not always be accurate. We are not responsible for incorrect categorizations. When using the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature, you are responsible for compliance with the AI provider's terms of service and any associated costs.

You agree not to: - Use the Service for any illegal purpose. - Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension. - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers. - Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities. - Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service. - Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.

The Booky extension, its code, design, and associated content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Your bookmark data remains your property. You retain all rights to your bookmarks and personal data. We do not claim ownership over any content you save or organize using the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated categories and tags are provided for convenience and may require manual review and adjustment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may stop using the Service and delete the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may export your data before termination using the built-in export feature.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the extension or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
